STABILIZING MALADAPTIVE BEHAVIORS
Mental Health Skill Building is a person-centered, goal-driven service to empower individuals with a history of psychosocial obstacles between the ages of 18-65.
Hands of Unity has an interdisciplinary team of credentialed professionals through the Virginia Board of Counseling to ensure a reputable level or care for our clients in the most appropriate, professional and least restrictive environments.

We assist our individuals with creating stability in their day to day lives and in the community by supporting them with connecting to housing resources, educating on social skills and building relationships, teaching healthy financial practices, teaching self advocacy and much more.
PERSON CENTERED APPROACH
One of the greatest benefits of our behavioral health programs is our person-centered approach. This personalized method allows individuals to define what a happy, healthy life means to them and provides the tools and support needed to achieve and maintain it. By focusing on each person’s unique goals, strengths, and needs, we empower them to take an active role in their own well-being. This approach fosters a sense of autonomy and self-worth, encouraging lasting positive change and a deeper understanding of personal health and happiness. Through tailored strategies and compassionate care, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual, guiding them on their journey to a more fulfilling and balanced life.
